About Travis
By the age of fourteen Travis had already begun writing for the stage and screen, served as the lead host on Fox 44 TV's Kid's Club, learned his way around professional film sets, and been seen as a principal actor in multiple theatrical productions. In the many years since, he has pursued his passion as a multifaceted storyteller, honing his craft as an actor, writer, director, and producer. He has performed in ballets, musicals, classics, world premieres, comedies, and dramas, and has been formally honored by many organizations for his performances. As a filmmaker with over 30 titles to his name, he has picked up a diverse group of awards over the years. Travis served as an associate producer of the Red Stick International Animation Festival (which, at the time, was the largest event of its kind in the United States). As an avid board gamer, he was one of the original cast members of the I Heart Board Games Twitch channel and his Must Love Board Games films have been praised by Rodney Smith (Watch It Played!), Tom Vasal (Dice Tower), and the Origins Game Fest. In addition, Travis graduated cum laude from Louisiana State University with a degree in General Studies and went on to earn a master's degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives Management. He has co-authored a work published by the Society of American Archivists and his contributions to librarianship have been recognized by the Texas Historical Records Advisory Board, the American Association of Law Libraries, and the Louisiana Library Consortium. Oh, and one time he ran a marathon.
